PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana
The Government of India, under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has launched this scheme to promote sustainable development. With an investment of over ₹75,000 crores, it aims to provide 1 crore households with up to 300 units of free electricity every month.
- ₹30,000 per kW subsidy (up to 2 kW)
- ₹18,000 per kW for additional capacity up to 3 kW
- Maximum subsidy capped at ₹78,000 for systems > 3 kW
- ₹18,000 per kW for common facilities (incl. EV charging)
- Capacity allowed up to 500 kW (@3 kW per house)
